Spiritually speaking, what was the first real battle that we know of? We know that before the world was created Satan and God had a battle. You can guess who lost. Satan said he would ascend to the heavens, he would make himself God.

Isaiah 14:13:
You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain."

He did not want to obey God, but BE God. He wanted to pull God down off the throne and take his place. Here we are today and the battle still rages. Satan is alive and well here on planet earth. He knows his time is short, so he attempts to fill peoples' hearts and minds with his own ambitions. His greatest and longest running lie is that we can be God or that we are already God, we just don't realize it--we need an awakening to the fact that we truly are divine.

This is a very attractive proposition to many today. If you are God, then you can decide what is right and wrong. No one else can tell you differently. You have no accountability to anyone. You are your own master. In fact, there is a very prominent movement afoot where the leaders will give you this blessing and transfer energy to you by placing their hands on your head and then your brain will be reset toward peace and love. Suddenly you will have the divine within realized and all your troubles will fade away. Once you realize you are God, you have to feel better, right?

This stands in sharp contrast to reality and reason. Besides the facts that many layers behind this movement are satanic sexual rituals that help "boost" the leaders' energy bank so he or she can transfer this energy to others, there are many people who have been possessed after such an encounter. You can find their stories all over the web.

The Bible even warns Christians to exercise caution regarding the laying on of hands. If you don't know the person's character who is praying for you and know that they are fully following Christ, I would not recommend letting them lay hands on you for prayer. Spiritual transference is real, whether by God's power or Satan's.

The interesting thing here is that you have Christ and you have anti-Christ. Anti-Christ does everything the opposite of Christ, yet seeks to imitate Christ in a parallel fashion. For example, Jesus did miracles. The anti-Christ will do false miracles. They will appear to have the same power. Jesus died and was resurrected. The anti-Christ also will die and resurrect. This is why most of the world will put their trust in him. Jesus fills us with His Spirit, yet we are not God. We walk in unity with God. Satan wants to fill people with his spirit and delude people into thinking they themselves are God.

The Bible warned us of all of this ahead of time, but now we are really seeing things take shape. The battle lines are being drawn. Persecution will come from those who believe themselves to be divine to those who worship the one and only true divine Christ.

Worship or be worshiped. Humble yourself or exalt yourself. Turn away from your sins and trust Christ to forgive you or define your own morality and be accountable to no one.

The Bible makes a very interesting statement. It says that the anti-Christ will worship a god of forces, a god that was foreign to his fathers.

From Daniel 11:

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces"

This god of forces is exactly what we are seeing worshipped today. People world-wide are being taught that the universe has certain laws and forces which can be manipulated. So instead of worshiping the One who made the universe, they are worshiping the forces of the universe.

Jesus is so awesome! He tells his people EVERYTHING ahead of time, so there is no reason to fear. Only stand strong in your faith and see the salvation of the Lord. And in the mean time help those who are on the wrong path. It's not that we are proud because we are right. it is that we want to help because people are depressed and sick and we carry the very medicine they need--a true relationship with Jesus Christ, where HE is Lord and we bow at His feet in worship!
